How do I revert back to the Java Virtual Machine 1.4 in order to install Eiger Manager?

When trying to install Eiger Manager, you may receive a warning message advising you to remove all versions of the Java Virtual Machine above version 1.4 - see Figure 1.

The Java Virtual Machine can be removed using "Add or Remove Programs" in the Control Panel. See figure 2 for an example of the J2SE Runtime Environment that needs to be uninstalled.

Note: A copy of the Java Virtual Machine version 1.4 can be found on the Eiger Manager installation CD. Once Eiger Manager is installed, later versions of the Java Virtual Machine may be used. For further information on the Java Runtime Environment, please visit the Java website.

How will I know when the latest data is available for download?

BANK WIZARD data is updated weekly. QAS send out data update emails to all BANK WIZARD customers when the data is available for download through Eiger Manager. If you would like to receive these update emails then please contact QAS Technical Support.

How do I set the BWTABLES environment variable?

The BWTABLES environment variable should be set so that BANK WIZARD is able to locate the Licence Key and Database Table Files. If you do not set the environment variable, the BANK WIZARD core only looks for these files in the current working folder. Information on how to set the environment variable can be found on page 3 of the BANK WIZARD Installation Guide.

Where will I find Integration / Implementation assistance?

The BANK WIZARD Documentation CD contains a file called 'index.html', which contains a link to the BANK WIZARD Implementation Guide. This guide should be used as a reference for all users who are responsible for embedding BANK WIZARD in their system using the API. It includes design considerations, API functions and how to apply them for all supported operating systems.
