Performing data updates

Applying regular data updates should form an integral part of any organisations effective data quality strategy. Why? Because all QuickAddress data sets are active data files, which means that they are continuously being updated by QAS' data suppliers. To ensure QAS' customers are always running the latest data, thereby getting the most from QuickAddress products, data updates are supplied on a regular basis to all licenced customers. Data updates are also vital to prevent data expiries. All QuickAddress data sets expire after a set period of time. Expired data sets can lead to loss of use of your QuickAddress product.

There are two basic ways of performing data updates, via the automated Windows QuickAddress Data Installer present on all data CDs, or manually. It is recommended that the automated Windows QuickAddress Data Installer be used wherever possible.
