1. What is address management?

Address management is a process that enables companies to enter validated postal address records, and keeps them up-to-date and accurate over time. Address management solutions compress address files from national postal administrations. Users can then typically find addresses in the minimum amount of time using a sophisticated search engine.

2. Why is address management important?

Holding incorrect or out of date address records can lead to inefficiencies within an organisation. Mailings may not reach their destination, marketing spend can be wasted, company image may be damaged. Industry rules and regulations may also require for data held on customers to be clean and kept up to date. It is therefore imperative that data quality is maintained.

5. Which SAP application is QuickAddress integrated into?

QuickAddress for mySAP™ Business Suite is compatible with version 4.6 onwards and can be supplied for all supported mySAP™ Business Suite application server platforms and database types.

6. How long does it take to train users on QuickAddress?

Only minimal training is required, most users will be able to use the new system with no training, as QuickAddress uses the familiar SAP user interface, and is simple and intuitive to use..

7. How is QuickAddress priced?

QuickAddress is priced on a per seat basis. Overall cost will vary due to the differing cost of royalties, and the terms and conditions of the relevant national data supplier. Please contact QAS for further information.

8. What is the difference between batch cleansing and rapid address capture?

"Batch cleansing" solutions verify address records after they have been entered. If an address is incomplete or inaccurate information has been entered, the batch solution may not be able to verify the address. Unmatched address data can then be cleaned interactively using a “rapid addressing” solution.

"Rapid addressing" solutions allow users to enter a partial address, or just address elements in order to search for and return a full, valid address. Addresses are verified before being entered into your database. Reducing the time taken to enter an address can result in cost savings particularly if high volumes of addresses are being entered.
