QAS Names

Technical information for name validation software

QAS Names is a dataset that is run in accordance with our address capture engine, QAS Pro. QAS Names provides reliable name validation that can be integrated into front-end address capture applications, or integrated via an API. The dataset uses address elements to validate the names of approximately 215 million consumers across the United States.

Installation requirements:

  • 5 to 10 MB for program files
  • 1 to 1000 MB for postal data files (1 MB for Luxembourg through 1000 MB for the USA)

Platforms supported:

  • Windows 32-bit/64-bit
  • UNIX (AIX, Solaris, HPUX)
  • Linux

The QAS Names dataset allows corrected addresses with names to be transferred over http, https, and ftp sites.
