Address Verification for Demandware users

To improve the capture of customer information during the online checkout process, Experian QAS has integrated its address verification functionality into the Demandware eCommerce Platform. QAS for Demandware works in real time, without affecting the existing shopping experience.

As a customer submits his or her address during the checkout process, the QAS verification engine is invoked. Most often, the customer is unaware that QAS is working in the background. If QAS cannot intuitively verify and standardize an address, the software will prompt the customer for the missing address elements before the purchase can be completed.

Integration Specifications

Experian QAS offers a seamless and transparent integration into Demandware based on the address verification platform. The functionality can be adjusted to the specifications of each retailer's existing checkout process - all within a few hours.

Data updates are automatically applied via Experian's data center, reducing any potential strain to the client's IT team and ensuring that only the latest address information is retrieved.

How to get it:

To enable QAS functionality, retailers need two items. First, retailers must have the Experian QAS On-Demand ID and password. These codes are automatically emailed out after purchase and ensure that each customer can access the requested country data sets.

The second item required can be downloaded from the Demandware LINK Marketplace. Once the free cartridge and documentation is accessible, customers can setup the QAS functionality via the Demandware Business Manager.
