The US Postal Service announced on October 17th that it will increase stamp prices by one cent. Starting in early 2012, the cost of sending magazines, standard mail, first class letters and packages will also be rising. The US Postal Service is strapped for cash with hopes the recent rate hike will generate an additional $888M in revenue. Expecting to face a loss of $8 billion to $9 billion a year, the USPS is exploring as many options it can to get back on track, although email, smart phones, online bill payments and the internet are all pushing the agency towards bankruptcy. In the past months, the US Postal Service has even considered a 5-day delivery week, eliminating Saturday delivery as well as closing offices nationwide.

Some of you may know by now that Experian QAS has partnered with Jenzabar, Inc. to enhance its application capabilities. Clients running Jenzabar EX can now access QAS address verification functionality within their application. The tool is integrated into the new Jenzabar EX v3.5 release and requires minimal IT work on your end. But we’re not done yet!
