As Senior Vice President and General Manager, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the QAS Careers page. Recruiting is an important part of our corporate life; our business and success to date have been fundamentally built upon the strength of the people we hire.

One of the most appealing and prominent parts of the QAS culture is the opportunity for advancement offered to everyone, from entry-level personnel to senior management. This opportunity involves increased responsibility and upward mobility; those who are willing and capable see near-immediate returns on their professional development. This has held true for my own career. Since joining QAS in 2004 as a Senior Account Manager, I have continuously tried to seize the opportunity for more responsibility as I moved upward, developing my career and helping QAS achieve its business objectives. I am by no means unique-currently at QAS 83% of our management group were promoted from independent contributors. This year we intend to promote many more from within our ranks as the company grows and opportunities for added responsibility arise.

We consistently push for double-digit growth, and as we've achieved it, the opportunity for advancement is offered to all--never a select few. In order to achieve this, we have had to stay enthusiastic, clear-headed, and most importantly, honest about individual performance and contribution to the greater whole.

By no means is this an environment for everyone. In order to thrive here at QAS, one must possess tenacity, perseverance, honesty, integrity, curiosity, mutual respect, and a work-smart, play-hard attitude--our core values. We are very keen to hire and promote employees who embody these ideals, and I feel the only obstacle to growth is each person's own mentality. In fact, we expect that our employees improve continually; complacency has no place here.
