Employee Testimonials

Describe your Experian QAS timeline.

"I started at Experian QAS as a Sales Coordinator for the San Francisco sales team in May 2005. As a Sales Coordinator I had the opportunity to work with several of the other Experian QAS departments and after several months, expressed an interest in our Technical team. I had no formal technical training or experience at the time, but the Technical Manager took me under his wing and I became a Technical Support Analyst and gained a better understanding of how our products are implemented, learned basic troubleshooting and moved customers through the various project phases. I really enjoyed the Project Management aspect of my role and when approached by the director of Customer Management to join his team as a Project Manager, I jumped at the opportunity. I have now been in my current role as a Project Manager for almost 3 years and focus on helping our customers install and implement their Experian QAS products."

Why did you decide to work here?

"What drew me to Experian QAS was the room for growth and the investment Experian QAS spends on developing their employees. When I started at Experian QAS the US staff was half what it is today and we're still growing. I wanted to get my foot in the door with a company where I knew I would be able to grow and where I could acquire the right skills and experience to advance my career path."

What has surprised you while working at Experian QAS?

"Management really listens. We have several different forums to express areas we think need improvement within the business, our products and within our own personal roles. When my husband and I purchased our first home that was over an hour and a half commute from the office, I expressed my concerns and management worked with me on developing a schedule that provided me with more work/life balance and 2 days telecommuting from home."

What skills have you developed while working at Experian QAS?

"My managers have been very receptive to areas I want to improve and focus on and I have received formal training in IT, Sales and recently received my PMP Credential. I have learned how to ask the right questions, negotiate, and multi-task, all of which have helped me get to where I am today."
