International address data solutions

International address data available Many organizations need international address data at the same quality of domestic U.S address data. Experian QAS offers international address validation for 87 countries.

QAS software products are available with international functionality for front-end address verification as well as on the back-end address cleansing processes.

Address Type Indicator

QAS Pro and QAS Pro Web are available with Address Type Indicator (ATI), a data set which categorizes addresses as businesses, residential or a mixture of both.

ATI can also show whether a given address is an apartment building or a single residence, and indicate whether or not it is currently occupied.

This feature helps retailers make better decisions about which shipping method might be the most effective for a given address.

Address latitudes and longitudes

Latitudes and longitudes (lat/longs) are another useful data set when verifying addresses with QAS Pro or QAS Pro Web.

Address lat/longs can easily be imported into most GPS or mapping applications and are specified to 6 decimal places, including a match level indicating the accuracy of the reading.

Names and addresses

Names of residents can be matched precisely along with their verified addresses using QAS Names. This versatile QAS software validates names and addresses against an Experian® database utilizing over 6000 different sources, including:

  • telephone directories
  • real estate transactions
  • the USPS® NCOALink TM file
  • other public and proprietary sources

In addition, the advanced lookup features of QAS Names can return correctly spelled and formatted names and addresses from incorrect or incomplete data.

Census Tract Data

Census Tracts are segments defined by the Census Bureau for reporting purposes. They contain 1,500-8,000 people and define typical demographic.

A postal Carrier Route is the group of addresses to which the USPS® assigns the same code to aid in mail delivery.
