Experian QAS launches new online email address cleansing services
Experian® QAS®, a part of Experian Marketing Services and a leading provider of address verification software and services, today launched email cleansing on its ecommerce site. The new service allows organizations to upload email address files for cleansing to increase the accuracy of email campaigns and raise deliverability rates.
This 24-hour service enables companies to upload data files through the Experian QAS Website for cleansing. The tool identifies format and syntax errors, removes illegitimate domains and confirms that the domain can receive email.
"Email is typically the most utilized piece of contact data within an organization, and the channel can provide a high return on investment for marketing departments," said Thomas Schutz, senior vice president, general manager of Experian QAS. "While the message of an email is important, it is essential to ensure that the email address is valid, so that as many contacts as possible receive the email messages. This new tool allows organizations of all sizes to clean emails on an ad hoc basis to improve marketing campaign results."
The new service is completely hosted and does not require any installation. The email address data is automatically updated with the latest information available.
